Compare the shell with the route
Use the widest tub dimension and the narrowest usable clearance. Account for turns, steps, slopes and surfaces that cannot bear a heavy load.
Check the surrounding build
A spa enclosed by a deck, gazebo or screen is not the same job as a freestanding tub. Identify which structures stay and which work, if any, is approved.
Treat utilities as a separate decision
